Matters.AI is hiring a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Specialist for its Bengaluru, Karnataka location. Software Development company with 11–50 employees. Matters is a fast growing B2B technology company looking for a high agency and growth minded Talent Acquisition professional who can take complete ownership of the hiring function and gradually transition into a holistic HR Generalist role as the organization scales. The role focuses primarily on end to end recruitment for Tech and Go To Market functions while also contributing to People Operations, employee engagement and HR processes.
The selected candidate will lead the complete recruitment lifecycle for Engineering, Product, AI and ML, Full Stack, Backend, Frontend, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Executive, SDR, Growth Marketing and Account Management roles. Responsibilities include building proactive talent pipelines through outbound sourcing, networking and employee referrals, delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach to offer management, tracking recruitment metrics such as time to hire, offer acceptance rates and pipeline health, improving ATS workflows and hiring processes, strengthening employer branding across LinkedIn, job portals and professional networks, managing onboarding and offboarding activities, designing employee engagement programs, organizing team events, feedback surveys and recognition initiatives, supporting HR policies, employee handbook updates and basic compliance frameworks for a scaling startup environment.
Candidates should have 4 to 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience preferably in a high growth B2B SaaS or technology startup, demonstrated success hiring for Engineering, Product and Go To Market roles, strong sourcing expertise, adaptability, process building skills, excellent written and verbal communication, experience using recruitment metrics to drive hiring decisions, and a desire to expand into HR Generalist and People Operations responsibilities. Experience with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby or similar tools and previous exposure to HR Generalist or People Operations projects will be an added advantage. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence hiring strategy, shape company culture, transition into a complete People Operations role, and work in a fast paced environment with quick decision making and opportunities to introduce new ideas.
