Job Description
Cortex Consultants is looking for an experienced HR Operations professional with strong functional background to join the human resources team in Bangalore. This role centers on managing core HR shared services, overseeing end to end employee lifecycle processes, administering benefits, coordinating payroll operations, and driving systems compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end to end HR operations and employee lifecycle management from initial onboarding integration to final exit formalities and offboarding
Administer employee benefits programs including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Gratuity, and Group Medical Insurance policies
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, resolve discrepancies, validate compensation data, and partner with finance and payroll teams for on-time salary processing
Maintain, update, and manage employee master records and workflow approvals using enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM
Address employee queries related to internal HR policies, workplace regulations, leave management, and operational services promptly
Prepare advanced HR MIS reports, headcount analytics, and dashboards utilizing MS Excel functions like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables
Support internal and external compliance audits by maintaining audit ready statutory documentation and personnel files
Identify operational gaps and collaborate on continuous process improvement and HR workflow automation initiatives
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of proven hands on experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services environments
Thorough understanding of corporate HR policies, labor regulations, statutory benefits administration, and payroll workflows
Demonstrated technical proficiency in enterprise HRIS software including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, complex formula application, and HR reporting
Strong verbal and written communication capabilities paired with sharp attention to detail and a structured, process oriented approach
