Job Description
UNext is hiring a strategic and execution-oriented leader for the role of Assistant / Associate Director ā Career Services & Placements in Bangalore. Overseeing an online learner ecosystem of over 150,000 learners, this senior leadership role focuses on expanding corporate partnerships, cultivating senior C-suite/CHRO networks, building scalable employability programs, and leveraging analytics to maximize candidate placement outcomes at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships & Employer Outreach
Corporate Relationship Building: Build and maintain strategic alliances with CHROs, Talent Acquisition (TA) heads, and industry leaders across sectors to drive candidate sourcing agreements and repeat hiring.
Placement Drives & Hiring Events: Conceptualize and execute large-scale placement drives, virtual hiring fairs, hackathons, and corporate networking events.
Career Readiness & Scalable Ecosystem Operations
Employability Strategy: Design and integrate career-readiness initiatives, interview prep modules, and skill-gap bridging programs tailored to diverse corporate requirements.
Data & Process Automation: Utilize tech stacks, data analytics, and operational automation to monitor hiring pipelines, learner progression, and placement success metrics.
Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and grow a team of corporate relations, placement, and student success professionals to achieve operational targets.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Experience: 12 to 15 years of total experience in Career Services, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, or HR (with 7ā9+ years specifically leading career services/placement operations).
Industry Background: Preferred background in Higher Education, University Placement Offices, EdTech platforms, or Workforce Development networks.
Key Attributes: Strong existing network across corporate TA teams and CHROs, high-level negotiation capabilities, and data-driven operational decision-making.
Education: MBA / PGDM preferred.
