The Senior Principal will lead strategic technical hiring initiatives across Software Engineering and Product functions. This role is ideal for experienced recruiters with a strong executive search or agency recruitment background who enjoy solving complex hiring challenges, developing search strategies, and partnering directly with global technology clients to deliver exceptional talent. Candidates currently based in Hyderabad are preferred. Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 30 days will receive preference.
The successful candidate will own end-to-end recruitment for Software Engineering and Product hiring mandates while managing approximately 15 to 25 active technical requisitions across multiple client engagements. Responsibilities include executing executive searches for Senior Individual Contributors, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Product Leadership positions. The role involves designing sourcing strategies using market mapping, competitive intelligence, passive candidate sourcing, referrals, Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and advanced sourcing techniques. The Senior Principal will build talent pipelines for niche technical positions, monitor recruitment funnel performance, identify hiring bottlenecks, adjust search strategies based on market feedback, and ensure successful hiring outcomes.
The role also requires serving as a trusted recruitment advisor to hiring managers and client stakeholders by translating hiring requirements into structured search strategies. Responsibilities include providing market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, hiring competitiveness, competitor hiring activity, and technology market trends. The candidate will deliver regular updates on recruitment progress, pipeline health, hiring risks, and expected time to fill while helping clients make informed hiring decisions.
The successful candidate will develop deep expertise in Hyderabad's engineering and product talent ecosystem by conducting market mapping exercises, identifying talent clusters, analyzing competitor hiring patterns, monitoring emerging technology skills, and using market insights to improve sourcing effectiveness and hiring quality. The role offers exposure to global executive search assignments, strategic client advisory, technology leadership hiring, and opportunities to grow into executive search leadership positions.
Candidates should possess 10 to 14 years of technical recruitment experience, including at least 5 years within an Executive Search firm, Technology Recruitment Agency, Recruitment Consultancy, or search-focused Talent Acquisition environment. Strong experience hiring Software Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Architects, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, and senior technology professionals is required. Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean Search, market mapping, passive sourcing, talent pipeline development, stakeholder management, consultative recruiting, and the Hyderabad technology talent market is essential. Experience hiring for SaaS companies, Global Capability Centers, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Software, FinTech, or Digital Platforms is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree is required. An MBA, Engineering Degree, executive education, or certifications in Talent Acquisition, Sourcing Strategy, or HR Analytics will be an added advantage.
