Overview
UKB Electronics is hiring a dynamic Plant HR Manager to lead human resources operations for its manufacturing facility located in Sector 80, Noida. This role is responsible for directing end to end human resources functions, shop floor HR operations, statutory governance, and industrial relations while managing a large factory workforce of over 500 personnel.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Lead and manage comprehensive plant HR operations, workforce administration, and personnel management across the manufacturing facility.
Manage shop floor workforce operations, attendance systems, shift planning, leave tracking, and contractor workforce administration.
Oversee industrial relations, address shop floor grievances, enforce disciplinary procedures, and maintain a peaceful and productive manufacturing work environment.
Ensure full adherence to the Factories Act, state labor laws, contract labor regulations, safety guidelines, and statutory filing requirements.
Direct statutory audit readiness, maintain statutory registers, liaise with government labor officials, and ensure legal risk mitigation.
Partner with plant operations leadership and production heads to assess staffing requirements, manage workforce planning, and support technical hiring.
Drive employee engagement programs, welfare schemes, worker health initiatives, and plant safety drives in coordination with safety officers.
Oversee payroll input preparation, overtime calculations, statutory deductions, and final settlement processes for plant staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
MBA or PGDM in HR or Industrial Relations, or Master of Social Work (MSW).
Ten to twelve years of core plant HR experience with proven exposure in managing large factory or manufacturing workforces.
Strong command over industrial relations, shop floor labor dynamics, and Indian labor legislations including the Factories Act.
Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, labor dispute handling, and stakeholder coordination.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
