Revata Engineering Private Limited is a Pune-based manufacturer of precision rubber molded components, rubber-to-metal bonded parts, and engineered sealing products for the Oil and Gas and industrial sectors. The company is certified to API Spec Q1 and ISO 9001:2015 and operates a NABL accredited ISO/IEC 17025 in-house testing laboratory at its plant in MIDC Bhosari, Pune.
Revata is looking for a hands-on HR professional to independently own the complete HR and Administration function of the company. The Manager β HR and Admin will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment of worker, staff, and managerial positions, statutory compliance, payroll inputs, employee lifecycle management, training records, and day-to-day administration for a team of 55 to 60 employees. This is a single-handed role requiring complete ownership of the HR and Admin function while establishing systems and documentation where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end recruitment for worker, staff, and managerial positions including preparing job descriptions, sourcing through job portals, consultants, and references, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, salary negotiation, and issuing offer and appointment letters.
Complete joining formalities, induction, onboarding documentation, and employee orientation for all new hires.
Manage attendance, shift schedules, leave records, muster roll, overtime, and prepare monthly payroll inputs for salary processing.
Ensure statutory compliance under Provident Fund, ESIC, Professional Tax, Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages Act, and the Factories Act by maintaining registers, returns, challans, statutory records, notice boards, and coordinating with consultants and government authorities.
Handle Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act compliance including contractor documentation, verification of contractor bills, and maintenance of statutory registers.
Maintain training records, competence matrix, induction records, training effectiveness evaluations, and HR documentation required under API Q1 and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems. Represent HR during certification and customer audits.
Manage the complete employee lifecycle including confirmations, transfers, promotions, increments, disciplinary actions, resignations, exits, and Full and Final Settlements.
Draft and implement HR policies, leave policies, service rules, personnel records, and employee documentation.
Handle employee grievances, counselling, warning letters, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
Coordinate annual performance appraisal and increment cycles with department heads and the Managing Director.
Oversee administration including security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, courier services, Annual Maintenance Contracts, and arrangements for customer and auditor visits.
Organize employee engagement activities including festival celebrations, Safety Day, welfare initiatives, and annual functions.
Prepare monthly HR MIS reports covering manpower status, absenteeism, attrition, overtime, and recruitment updates for the Managing Director.
Who Should Apply:
This opportunity is suitable for HR professionals with manufacturing industry experience who have independently managed factory HR operations, statutory compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and administration. Candidates should be comfortable interacting with employees across all levels from shop floor workers to senior managers and should have experience building HR systems from the ground up.
Candidates with experience limited to IT, ITES, BPO, Banking, Retail, Recruitment Consultancy, or specialized corporate HR functions are not suitable for this role.
Must Have Qualifications:
Graduate with MBA, MPM, MSW, or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or Personnel Management.
8 to 12 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a manufacturing or factory environment.
Hands-on experience in Provident Fund, ESIC, Professional Tax, Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund, Factories Act compliance, statutory documentation, and liaison with authorities.
Proven experience recruiting technical, shop floor, and managerial positions within manufacturing organizations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or API Q1 certified organizations.
Exposure to Contract Labour Regulation and Abolition Act compliance and domestic enquiries.
Working knowledge of HRMS or payroll software such as GreytHR, Keka, Saral PayPack, or similar platforms.
Experience establishing HR functions and systems in growing organizations.

Office Timings:
Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
