Job Description
Verisk is seeking a detail-oriented and techno-functional HRIS Administrator to manage and support Human Resources Information Systems, specifically the Oracle Fusion platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining HR systems, supporting HCM processes, ensuring data integrity, gathering business requirements, and implementing system enhancements. The role partners closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize HR technology and improve business processes. Experience maintaining Oracle Fusion HCM modules is strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to work independently to troubleshoot issues and perform system configuration enhancements.
The selected candidate will gather, analyze, and document business requirements for HR system enhancements and new functionality. Responsibilities include preparing Business Requirement Documents and functional specifications, administering and maintaining HRIS data including employee records, compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and job updates.
The role will support annual compensation activities including merit increases, bonus planning, and compensation statement generation. The candidate will develop test plans, execute test scripts, and support User Acceptance Testing for system enhancements. The candidate will troubleshoot Oracle issues, provide production support, and coordinate resolutions with IT teams.
The Oracle HCM Functional Consultant will perform data audits and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data. Responsibilities include supporting data uploads using Oracle HCM Data Loader and performing SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
The candidate will collaborate with HR, management, and external consultants on HR technology initiatives and process improvements. The role will include preparing HRIS-related documentation, training materials, and user communications. The candidate will recommend improvements to HR processes and system functionality and manage multiple projects and deliverables while working effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
The role will also involve building out Oracle AI functionality in support of key business initiatives. Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience developing and testing AI Agents.
Candidates should have a Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. The role requires 9+ years of experience in HRIS Administration or a similar techno-functional role.
Strong experience with SQL and Oracle HCM Data Loader is required. Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP is required. The candidate should have working knowledge of Oracle HR modules including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Performance Management, Absence Management, and Recruiting.
Experience with ServiceNow is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of HR processes and HR data management, along with experience creating BRDs, test plans, and test scripts.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills. The candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
