Ample is hiring an Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner (HRBP) for its Bangalore location. The HRBP will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across designated business units and delivering value-added HR support aligned with organizational goals.
The role requires strong employee relations, performance management, HR analytics, compliance, workforce planning, training, and business partnering capabilities, along with the ability to support a large and geographically distributed workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Align business objectives with employees and management within designated business units.
• Build strong partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added HR services.
• Maintain strong business knowledge covering business-unit plans, culture, and competitive environment.
• Consult with line management and provide HR guidance on people-related matters.
• Create HR reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
• Analyze HR trends and metrics and partner with HR teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
• Conduct effective, thorough, and objective employee-relations investigations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations and minimize legal risks.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
• Work with business units and employees to improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
• Provide guidance and interpretation on HR policies.
• Provide HR support during onboarding, promotions, and employee transfers.
• Support business-unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Identify training requirements for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
• Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs and ensure training objectives are achieved.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback and outcomes.
• Perform other related HR duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in HR Business Partnering and handling complex employee relations issues.
• Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.
• Knowledge of applicable federal/state employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand and apply relevant laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and company policies.
• Ability to understand organizational hierarchy, job roles, qualifications, compensation practices, and related HR administration.
• Willingness and preparedness to travel approximately 50% across PAN India store locations.
