The Talent Lead opportunity is based in Bangalore, India. As a Talent Acquisition Lead, the selected candidate will be an expert in talent acquisition and will be responsible for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. The role will partner with the business to attract the best talent, maintain a strong employer reputation, stay updated with industry technology and recruitment trends, and support the business in recruiting predominantly permanent candidates across several disciplines.
The role involves owning and managing talent pipelines and ensuring delivery across permanent and contract requirements according to business needs. The Talent Lead will take ownership of recruitment requirements, drive best recruitment practices within the business, and support operational leadership with advice, guidance, training, development, interview frameworks, recruitment tools and sourcing tactics.
Responsibilities include ensuring the use of effective selection strategies for current and future business requirements, including online and offline sourcing methodologies and consideration of relevant employment regulations. The role will use internal and external networks to maintain a strong presence in the industry through networking events, including holding or coordinating local meetups for developers and other relevant departments.
The Talent Lead will help define the business reputation strategy, including online presence and employer rating services such as Glassdoor, the company website and LinkedIn. The role will conduct market and competitor analysis and benchmarking, develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment suppliers, and source external candidates according to agreed service targets.
The position will also provide comprehensive recruitment statistics and reports to demonstrate service performance. The Talent Lead will manage the complete lifecycle of hiring, including workforce forecasting, role evaluation, benchmarking, job specification creation, advertising, interviewing and reporting. The role will build and maintain talent pools of pre-screened candidates while ensuring an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
The Talent Lead will create and deliver recruitment-focused projects through self-initiated research and will act as a subject matter expert on resourcing matters by providing advice and guidance to business leaders on best-practice recruitment strategies.
What we want from you: Proven experience in IT and Technology recruitment is required, preferably in an in-house environment, although RPO and agency recruitment experience will also be considered. The candidate should have experience working across multiple disciplines and managing multiple stakeholders across multiple countries.
The candidate should demonstrate complete end-to-end recruitment lifecycle experience across a broad range of technical and digital positions throughout the project lifecycle. Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment environment with the ability to take initiative with limited direction is important.
Strong knowledge of Boolean searches is required, with X-Ray search knowledge considered desirable. The candidate should have working knowledge of popular job boards and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, along with the ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels.
Highly developed executive search skills, including talent attraction and selection, are expected. The role will work with hiring managers to create and maintain formal job descriptions and stay informed about recruitment trends and innovative sourcing techniques to remain competitive and creative.
The candidate must maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on candidates, searches and recruitment reports. Experience with an ATS system is desirable, ideally Greenhouse. Strong IT skills in Word and Excel are expected. An interest in the digital world and the ability to follow technology industry trends and communicate effectively with technical professionals are also important.
