Job Description
Hetero is hiring a seasoned Manager / Senior Manager – Plant HR to lead end-to-end factory human resources operations at its manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad and Baddi. Operating within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, the role functions as a strategic HR partner to the Plant Head, functional heads, and Corporate HR to drive plant workforce effectiveness and shop-floor productivity. Key responsibilities encompass managing comprehensive Plant HR and Factory HR activities, manpower planning, technical recruitment, employee onboarding, promotions, and transfers. The manager will spearhead Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER), managing employee grievances, disciplinary matters, domestic enquiries, and show-cause notices. Additional responsibilities include managing contract labour compliance and vendor coordination, enforcing strict adherence to statutory labor laws and the Factories Act, conducting internal HR audits, supervising performance management cycles, directing employee engagement and welfare initiatives, driving training need analysis (TNA), and tracking plant HR MIS metrics (absenteeism, attrition, and headcount). Candidates must have 15 to 25 years of Plant HR experience, preferably in pharma or manufacturing, and hold an MBA, PGDM, or specialized degree in Industrial Relations.
