Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HR Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee records, and HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in payroll, PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, gratuity, and HRMS/payroll systems. Key Responsibilities include managing end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees, ensuring accurate calculation of salary, attendance, leaves, deductions, incentives, arrears, and full and final settlements, managing statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund, and Gratuity, preparing and verifying monthly payroll reports, salary registers, bank statements, and MIS, handling employee salary-related queries and resolving payroll discrepancies, managing employee data, attendance, leave, and payroll inputs in HRMS, coordinating with Finance/Accounts for salary processing and statutory payments, supporting payroll audits and maintaining accurate payroll documentation, managing onboarding and exit-related payroll activities including F&F settlements, ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory timelines, preparing HR/payroll MIS and management reports as required, coordinating with external consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities when required, and maintaining confidentiality and security of employee payroll information. Required Skills and Qualifications include a Graduate degree in HR, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, 5+ years of hands-on experience in payroll and HR operations, strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, LWF, and payroll compliance, experience with HRMS/payroll software (Keka experience will be an added advantage), strong command of MS Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and payroll reconciliation, good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to maintain payroll accuracy, and good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Candidate: Candidates from EdTech, Education, Retail, or other mid-to-large workforce organizations with experience handling high-volume payroll will be preferred.
