Milestones Switchgears Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a senior HR professional for the position of Head – Human Resources & Administration to lead multi-plant HR and administrative operations. The role requires a strategic and hands-on HR leader who can manage workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, industrial relations, statutory compliance, organizational development, and plant administration across multiple manufacturing locations.

Experience: Minimum 20 years of overall HR and Administration experience, with substantial exposure to manufacturing plants.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Plant HR Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR and administration functions across multiple manufacturing plants.
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Standardize HR processes across locations and align people management with business objectives.
2. Employee Relations and Industrial Relations
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, workforce engagement, and conflict resolution.
- Manage industrial relations across manufacturing plants.
- Maintain effective relationships with employees and other relevant stakeholders.
3. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and factory-related requirements.
- Oversee compliance related to PF, ESIC, wages, contract labour, and other statutory obligations.
- Maintain appropriate records and documentation to support compliance requirements.
4. Performance Management
- Drive performance appraisal processes and KRA/KPI implementation.
- Manage employee confirmation, promotions, increments, and succession planning.
- Implement and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).
5. Training and Development
- Identify competency gaps and training requirements.
- Implement employee training, leadership development, and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement and development programs.
6. HR Policies and Compensation
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), employee handbooks, and disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain HR documentation and support effective compensation and payroll systems.
7. Administration and Facilities Management
- Oversee security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, office administration, and other plant administrative services.
- Ensure smooth administrative operations across manufacturing locations.
8. Audit and Compliance Management
- Coordinate HR and labour compliance audits.
- Maintain compliance documentation and records.
- Support applicable ISO and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) management system requirements.
9. Strategic HR Leadership
- Advise senior management on workforce planning, employee cost optimization, employee retention, and organizational development.
- Monitor HR performance across locations and recommend improvements.
- Travel regularly to different plant locations as required by business needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 20 years of overall HR and Administration experience.
- Substantial experience in manufacturing plant HR operations.
- Proven ability to independently manage multi-plant or multi-location HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, statutory compliance, manpower planning, and plant administration.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to different plant locations.
- Candidates from electrical panel manufacturing, switchgear, electrical equipment, or engineering manufacturing industries will be preferred.
