We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional for the position of Global HR Technology Specialist – Workday HCM Core & Absence based in Pune under a hybrid working model.

As a Global HR Technology Specialist, you will manage day-to-day functional support, system administration, and continuous improvement for Workday HCM Core and Absence modules within Vanderlande's Global HR Service Delivery framework. Acting as a Tier 2 functional expert, you will resolve complex Workday incidents, service requests, and escalations within agreed SLAs, supporting employee data corrections, rescinds, cancellations, organizational structure updates, and cross-functional HR transactions. Key responsibilities include role management, security inquiries, auditing data quality, performing root-cause analysis for recurring system issues, and executing Shift Left initiatives to optimize Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational workflows. Furthermore, you will assist with system releases, testing cycles, hypercare support, location creation, and help-text configuration while creating knowledge articles, operational documentation, and training materials for regional HR service agents and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 4 to 6 years of experience in HR technology, HR operations, or Workday functional support. Deep expertise in Workday HCM Core and Workday Absence modules is mandatory, along with hands-on experience within a tiered HR service delivery model (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3). Applicants should possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and English communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex HR system transactions and drive continuous process improvements.
