Job Summary
The HR Executive will support day-to-day human resource operations within a full-time remote work structure. The role will focus on recruitment coordination, employee documentation, onboarding, attendance and leave management, employee communication, HR reporting, and support for performance and engagement activities. The HR Executive will work closely with the HR Manager, department heads, employees, and leadership teams to ensure HR processes are completed accurately and on time. Although this is a remote position, travel may be required when necessary for campus recruitment, recruitment drives, company events, employee training, meetings, and other approved HR-related activities. Travel may be domestic or international depending on business requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Support end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, follow-ups, and joining coordination
Coordinate with department heads regarding open positions and hiring requirements
Manage employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and joining formalities
Maintain attendance, leave records, employee files, and other HR documentation
Support payroll coordination by providing accurate attendance and employee-related information
Assist with performance review coordination, employee engagement, and internal communication
Handle routine employee queries and escalate sensitive matters when required
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
Prepare recruitment, attendance, onboarding, and other HR reports
Support implementation and communication of HR policies and internal procedures
Assist with campus recruitment, recruitment events, training programmes, and other HR activities requiring travel
Coordinate interview communication and candidate status updates
Support resignation, clearance, and exit documentation processes
Maintain accurate records in HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and internal HR trackers
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of recruitment and basic HR operations
Strong coordination and follow-up skills
Good organisational and time-management ability
Employee communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail in documentation and record management
Basic knowledge of HR policies and employee lifecycle processes
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and digital collaboration tools
Ability to work effectively within a remote team structure
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Master degree or MBA in Human Resources is preferred but not mandatory
Relevant HR certification will be considered an advantage
Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience is preferred
Practical exposure to recruitment coordination, employee documentation, onboarding, attendance management, HR reporting, employee communication, and general HR operations
Experience supporting remote or distributed teams will be an advantage
