Position: SAP HCM US Payroll / SAP EC Payroll (Implementation)
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Hybrid - Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune
Key Responsibilities:
Handle US Payroll processing and integration testing across SAP HCM Payroll and SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) landscapes.
Perform payroll variance analysis, interface testing, parallel run execution, and defect resolution.
Test payroll interfaces including bank files (ACH/NACHA), GL, time integration, and third-party vendor feeds.
Work with SAP ECP payroll schemas, PCRs, wage type catalogs, payroll control records, and payroll log analysis.
Support SuccessFactors Employee Central to ECP replication and understand compensation, organization, and position data flows.
Execute integration testing across EC-to-ECP, Payroll-to-GL, Payroll-to-Bank, and Time-to-Payroll interfaces.
Perform parallel runs and compare variances between legacy payroll systems and ECP results.
Manage defects using HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
Prepare clear and detailed payroll-specific defect documentation and ensure timely resolution.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have 5+ years of total Payroll domain experience in SAP HCM Payroll and/or SAP ECP/EC Payroll.
Strong US Payroll experience covering US tax processing, wage types, BSI TaxFactory, garnishments, retro processing, off-cycle payroll, and year-end processing including W-2 is required.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on integration testing and SIT execution experience on SAP HCM or ECP programs is required.
Experience testing payroll interfaces such as ACH/NACHA bank files, GL, time integration, and third-party vendor feeds is required.
Familiarity with SAP ECP payroll schemas/PCRs, wage type catalogs, payroll control records, and payroll log analysis is required.
Understanding of SuccessFactors EC-to-ECP replication and related data flows is required.
Experience with federal, state, and local US taxes, multi-state payroll scenarios, and state reciprocity is preferred.
SuccessFactors EC Payroll certification, familiarity with ADP/Ceridian or other legacy payroll systems, and prior consulting/SI delivery experience are good-to-have skills.
Candidates must be immediate joiners or have a notice period of less than 30 days only.
