Gold Coast Films is expanding its core team and looking for a driven, organized, and proactive HR and People Operations Intern / Junior HR Executive to work on-site at their office in Mumbai. This is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to not just execute routine administrative tasks, but actively help conceptualize, structure, and build the foundational HR department and workplace policies from scratch within a high-growth media production environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The selected professional will play an active role in establishing and maintaining HR systems, workflow documentation, operational policies, and administrative processes. You will take full charge of smooth employee onboarding, background verification, document collection, employee lifecycle management, and formal offboarding protocols.
Daily responsibilities include managing employee attendance records, leave tracking, and overall HR administrative workflows. You will assist talent acquisition by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and managing communication pipelines.
Additionally, you will maintain confidential personnel records, update central HR databases, assist leadership in framing performance review systems, execute engaging employee initiatives, and contribute directly toward building an organized, vibrant, and high-performance company culture.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
This opportunity is open to interns, recent college graduates, and early-career HR professionals with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess strong organizational discipline, clear verbal and written communication skills, high emotional intelligence, a people-first mindset, and the willingness to take end-to-end ownership in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting.
