Job Description
Velion IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced HR Manager to manage and strengthen the complete HR function for its business operations in Chembur, Mumbai. The role requires strong expertise in HR policy development, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, labour law compliance, employee engagement, and HR operations. The selected candidate will also lead and mentor a two-member HR & Admin team and work closely with employees across Sales, Accounts, and Warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and processes aligned with business objectives.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction, and joining formalities.
Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and employee welfare initiatives.
Establish and manage performance appraisal, KRA/KPI, and performance management frameworks.
Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.
Act as an HR advisor to management and employees on people-related matters.
Plan and execute training and development programs and maintain the HR calendar.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
Conduct regular HR audits and ensure adherence to company policies and HR processes.
Lead, guide, and mentor the existing two-member HR & Admin team.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, HRIS/HRMS, and personnel data.
Coordinate attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and other HR operations.
Support HR requirements for Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and blue-collar workforce.
Conduct regular employee interactions and address workforce-related concerns.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, and management dashboards as required.
Support management in building a positive, productive, and high-performance work culture.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.

Preferred Profile: Experienced HR professionals who can independently manage the complete HR function, lead a small HR & Admin team, handle both corporate and blue-collar workforce requirements, and work closely with employees and management. Experience supporting Sales, Accounts, and Warehouse teams will be an added advantage. Candidates must be comfortable working from the Chembur office and handling face-to-face employee interactions.
