Job Description
Tenneco is hiring a Manager - Human Resources for its Bengaluru location. The role is responsible for managing payroll operations, HR compliance, industrial relations, employee relations, statutory requirements, and workforce administration for a large manufacturing workforce. The position requires extensive experience in payroll processing, labor law compliance, union management, and HR operations within a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include headcount management and maintenance in SAP and SuccessFactors, end-to-end payroll processing in SAP, providing payroll and HR data for internal, external, customer, and statutory audits, closing audit observations, validating actuarial valuations for gratuity, leave, and wages, generating payroll reports, payroll reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with various statutory requirements. The role also involves contract labour management, managing payroll delivery for approximately 2000 employees, reviewing employee master data, processing increments, promotions, DA revisions, and mid-year corrections as per organizational policies.
Additional responsibilities include annual leave calculations, administration of variable allowances such as shift allowances, production incentives, service awards, hazard allowances, overtime compliance documentation, maintenance of statutory records including Form 9 and Form 22, handling employee grievances, and managing unionized workforce relations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP payroll systems, HR compliance, industrial relations, payroll audits, and manufacturing HR operations.
