Operating as a non-profit organization, iTeach runs free and high-impact schools and an exceptional college-to-career program for disadvantaged students in Pune and Navi Mumbai, known for world-class professional development, a result-oriented team culture, and a student-centric school design. The HR Payroll Associate will work closely with the HR Manager and coordinate closely with Finance to own end-to-end payroll processing, HRMS administration, and employee lifecycle documentation for iTeach Schools across Pune and Mumbai. Key Responsibilities: Collect and validate monthly payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, reimbursements, and deductions, audit attendance and leave data before payroll processing, share all relevant data with the finance team to process payroll for employees, consultants, and interns, complete joining formalities and verify documents, set up accurate employee records in the HRMS before the first salary cycle, maintain confidential and audit-ready personnel and payroll records, coordinate resignation documentation, asset clearance, and no-dues confirmation, prepare and validate full-and-final settlements, implement approved increments, promotions, transfers, and salary-structure changes in the HRMS, support PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, TDS, gratuity, and bonus processes, resolve employee queries on salary, leave, tax, and settlements. Ideal Candidate: Graduate in HR, Commerce, Accounting, or related fields, minimum 2 years of hands-on payroll and HR operations experience having independently run at least 12 monthly payroll cycles, working knowledge of statutory compliances like PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, gratuity, and bonus, experience with an HRMS or payroll platform such as Keka or SAP, strong Excel skills, clear communicator comfortable managing stakeholders across HR, Finance, and school teams.
