Job Description
A leading Diamond Company is hiring an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist for its BKC, Mumbai location. The organization operates in the Diamond and Jewellery industry and is looking for an HR professional who can independently manage end-to-end HR functions. The selected candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition and onboarding activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding candidates, developing effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals, and maintaining a strong talent pipeline.
The role also involves managing employee relations and engagement by addressing employee concerns, grievances, workplace issues, conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The candidate will develop and implement performance management systems, identify training needs, coordinate employee development programs, and ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities, company policies, and compliance requirements.
Additional responsibilities include compensation, benefits, and payroll management, conducting market benchmarking and compensation analysis, designing compensation structures and salary frameworks, administering payroll, employee benefits, insurance, and related HR processes. The candidate will ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations, develop and implement HR policies, systems, and procedures, maintain employee records and HR documentation, and support employee engagement, motivation, and retention initiatives.
The role further requires developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, preparing HR reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions. Candidates with prior experience in the Diamond and Jewellery industry will be preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations, labour laws, HR operations, compliance, stakeholder management, and organizational development.
