As a Talent Consultant - Supervising Associate, you will support the Talent agenda for a business unit in EY GDS and act as a key point of contact for employees, counselors, managers, and business unit leadership on a wide range of talent-related matters. You will drive and implement engagement initiatives, provide change leadership, increase workforce capability, and support talent management programs. The role requires developing a deep understanding of business unit objectives and talent priorities to ensure successful implementation of key projects and processes.
The role requires collaboration across functions to attract, assimilate, develop, engage, and retain key talent. You will manage HR initiatives including Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Talent Transformation, Talent Development, Reward & Recognition, and Employee Relations activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Strategic Talent Consultant in designing a sustainable and scalable engagement framework for the business unit and take ownership of delivery.
Provide support to business leaders and counselors in implementing engagement initiatives across the business unit.
Anticipate people-related issues and business needs and address them effectively.
Provide insights on people matters, particularly Employee Relations cases, and offer recommendations on business decisions and their impact on employees.
Ensure delivery of people management and development activities required to support business objectives.
Execute innovative HR programs and initiatives.
Ensure timely resolution of HR-related issues and involve Employee Relations teams where necessary.
Facilitate organizational change and support implementation and adoption of special projects and initiatives including Performance Management, Talent Transformation, Talent Development, and Reward programs.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage talent-related risks.
Develop strong relationships with Talent Centre of Excellence teams to ensure HR products and initiatives meet business requirements.
Skills and Attributes
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
Ability to develop actionable plans aligned with business strategies.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Excellent change management capabilities.
Strong client focus and relationship-building abilities.
Extensive Employee Relations experience including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management matters involving senior employees and leadership teams.
Ability to work in ambiguous environments and build consensus across diverse and global teams.
Qualifications
Graduate or Postgraduate qualification in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
6-8 years of proven HR Generalist experience including performance management and employee relations.
Experience delivering and managing talent initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a consulting organization or professional services environment.
Experience working in a cross-border and virtual environment.
