The People Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing internal operations, people processes, administration, onboarding, documentation, and coordination activities. This is a fully remote role designed for highly intelligent, motivated, organized, proactive, and reliable individuals who are eager to build a long-term career in operations, people management, technology, or company-building. Previous direct experience is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates who demonstrate strong learning ability and ownership.
Key responsibilities include managing internal tools, user accounts, documents, calendars, hiring systems, and team processes. The role requires maintaining employee, contractor, HR, payroll, leave, and policy records while ensuring accuracy and organization. The selected candidate will coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes including documentation, tool access management, training materials, introductions, and access removal.
Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures, onboarding guides, process notes, checklists, and training resources. The candidate will manage access across platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Airtable, GitHub, Figma, HubSpot, Stripe, password management tools, AI tools, and other business applications. The role also involves supporting employees, candidates, founders, and external partners through scheduling, coordination, administrative support, and follow-up activities.
The candidate will leverage AI tools to draft documentation, summarize information, develop templates, and improve recurring workflows. The role requires flexibility and the willingness to take on evolving responsibilities as company needs grow.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, quick to learn, and capable of independently solving problems. Strong written communication skills, integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, proficiency in software tools, and the ability to create clear documentation and repeatable processes are essential. Familiarity with AI tools or a strong willingness to learn them is highly desirable. Previous exposure to operations, administration, HR, hiring coordination, customer support, executive assistance, onboarding, training, or remote team coordination will be beneficial.
