The Senior Director, Human Resources, Indian Sub-Continent and GOC will serve as the primary HR partner for India Sub-Continent Hub and Global Operations Center leadership teams. The role is responsible for providing strategic consultation on organizational effectiveness, people management, talent development, workforce engagement, and business transformation across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
The selected candidate will align HR strategies and initiatives with business objectives while executing value-added HR programs that support organizational priorities. Responsibilities include providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to management on all human resource matters while strengthening leadership capabilities across the organization.
The role will partner closely with Total Rewards teams to ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with business needs. The candidate will lead projects, programs, and initiatives designed to engage, inspire, recognize, and retain top talent while supporting workforce productivity and business growth.
Key responsibilities include identifying and developing leadership talent, building succession plans, managing employee relations matters, and ensuring effective resolution of workplace issues. The position will also support the measurement and reporting of HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of people practices and organizational initiatives.
The Senior Director will participate as an active member of the regional HR organization, contributing to regional people strategies and key initiatives. The role includes leading a high-performing HR team and fostering a collaborative environment that supports internal stakeholders and business objectives.
The candidate will partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Design, Compensation, Benefits, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Relations, Leadership Development, and Learning functions to deliver high-quality HR services and solutions. Responsibilities also include leveraging HR policies, programs, and practices to maintain a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
The role requires ensuring workforce diversity, inclusion, representation, legal compliance, labor law adherence, and alignment with company policies and values. Strong recruiting fundamentals and a passion for attracting and retaining top talent are essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer focus, decision-making capabilities, organizational effectiveness, communication skills, and stakeholder management expertise. The role requires the ability to influence across functions and cultures, drive strategic initiatives, manage change, and support business growth in a multinational and multicultural environment.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 12 years of solid Human Resources experience and a minimum of 7 years in a leadership or team head position. Prior experience in the fashion or retail industry is preferred. Experience working within multinational organizations and multicultural environments is essential.
