Job Description
StarGlazze Film and Television Academy offers full-time and part-time creative and technical programs in screen acting, modeling, cinematography, film direction, filmmaking, photography, video editing, and sound engineering aligned with Bollywood and international industry standards. The academy focuses on practical, industry-relevant training that prepares learners for a wide range of roles in film and television. It also offers specialized training in accent development, presenting to camera, improvisation, and acting programs at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The academy promotes a learning environment focused on creativity, professionalism, and continuous skill development.
The Lead Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City and is responsible for driving end-to-end admissions and talent recruitment activities for the academy. The role focuses on attracting prospective students, managing the admissions pipeline, and ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Key responsibilities include sourcing and engaging prospective students through online platforms, educational events, industry networks, workshops, and outreach programs. Screen applications, conduct structured interviews, counseling sessions, and assess candidate suitability for various programs offered by the academy.
The role involves designing and executing recruitment and admissions campaigns while collaborating with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach materials. Track recruitment performance and conversion metrics to ensure enrollment goals are achieved.
Manage the complete applicant lifecycle through CRM or admissions management systems. Maintain accurate records, monitor applicant pipelines, coordinate communications, and generate reports to support admissions objectives.
Collaborate closely with faculty members and administrative teams regarding applicant assessments, selection decisions, and admission processes. Ensure a seamless, professional, and learner-focused experience for all applicants.
Represent the academy at education fairs, industry events, workshops, seminars, and community engagement activities. Maintain updated knowledge of film, television, media, and performing arts education trends to effectively guide prospective students regarding career opportunities and learning pathways.
The ideal candidate should possess demonstrated experience in recruitment, admissions, or talent acquisition, preferably within education, media, entertainment, or creative industries. Strong communication, interviewing, counseling, and relationship-building skills are essential.
Candidates should be proficient in applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and common office software. Experience planning and executing outreach campaigns through digital, social media, and offline channels is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple admissions cycles, programs, and deadlines simultaneously. A strong interest in film, television, media, performing arts education, and related career pathways will be highly beneficial.
The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Education, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience. A commitment to inclusive, learner-centered, and non-discriminatory recruitment practices is essential.
