Job Description
Visaka Industries Limited is looking for an experienced Vice President β HR to lead Corporate and Plant HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive HR leadership experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector, with strong exposure to managing HR across multiple manufacturing plants and Corporate HR functions. The role will drive people strategy, talent management, employee relations, compliance, compensation, and HR governance.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead Corporate HR and Plant HR functions across multiple manufacturing locations.
β’ Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational growth.
β’ Drive talent acquisition, manpower planning, workforce planning, and critical talent hiring.
β’ Lead Performance Management System (PMS), goal setting, appraisal, and performance review processes.
β’ Manage employee relations, engagement, grievance handling, and workplace culture initiatives.
β’ Drive Learning & Development, training, capability building, and leadership development programs.
β’ Develop and implement succession planning and talent management strategies.
β’ Ensure statutory compliance with applicable labour laws across corporate and plant locations.
β’ Oversee compensation and benefits programs, salary structures, and employee benefits.
β’ Manage leave, attendance, and time-management processes.
β’ Establish and strengthen HR policies, processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
β’ Partner with senior leadership and plant management on strategic people and organizational matters.
β’ Drive HR transformation, process improvements, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
β’ Ensure consistent HR practices and effective employee lifecycle management across locations.
β’ Provide strategic HR leadership and insights to senior management.
Eligibility:
β’ Minimum 20+ years of overall HR experience.
β’ Extensive experience in senior HR leadership roles.
β’ Strong experience managing Corporate HR and Plant HR functions.
β’ Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
β’ Experience managing HR across multiple manufacturing plants will be an advantage.
β’ Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, PMS, Employee Relations, and Talent Management.
β’ Strong understanding of Learning & Development and Succession Planning.
β’ Excellent knowledge of Labour Laws and Statutory Compliance.
β’ Strong exposure to Compensation & Benefits and HR Governance.
β’ Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
β’ Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong understanding of plant-level HR requirements.
