Magic International Pvt. Ltd. (MIPL) is one of India’s leading book printing and stationery manufacturing companies, operating from a 300,000 sq. ft. facility in Greater Noida with a workforce of more than 750 employees. The company serves global clients including Walmart, HarperCollins, Pearson, Cambridge University Press, McGraw-Hill, ITC and Michaels USA and holds ISO 9001, FSC, GRS, C-TPAT and Social Audit certifications. The company is hiring a Senior HR Executive – Payroll & Compliance to manage end-to-end payroll operations and statutory compliance for its manufacturing workforce. The selected candidate will handle monthly payroll processing for more than 500 factory employees and workers, maintain employee master data, attendance records, leaves, overtime and deductions, process full and final settlements, arrears, bonus and incentive calculations, reconcile payroll data with finance teams and generate payroll MIS reports. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity and Bonus Act requirements, handling returns, challans and filings under the Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act and Maternity Benefit Act, maintaining statutory registers, liaising with government authorities, supporting labour inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with Social Audit standards such as BSCI, Sedex and SA8000, and supporting C-TPAT workforce documentation requirements. The role also includes compensation and benefits administration, grievance management, HRMS and ERP system management, payroll automation support, audit coordination and maintaining confidentiality of employee records. Candidates should have extensive experience managing payroll for large factory workforces, strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, hands-on experience with HRMS and ERP platforms such as SAP HCM, Oracle HCM, Keka, Darwinbox, Spine HR or GreytHR, and advanced Excel skills. Experience in export-oriented manufacturing environments and social audit frameworks is mandatory.
