Job Description
Nexora Consultants is hiring a Training & Placement Officer for Gurgaon/NCR. The role is responsible for building strong industry partnerships, facilitating internships and final placements, enhancing student employability and serving as the key bridge between the institution and the corporate world. Responsibilities include developing corporate relations and industry engagement initiatives, planning and executing campus placement drives for UG and PG programs, achieving placement targets in terms of placement percentage, salary packages and recruiter participation, coordinating with recruiters regarding job descriptions, hiring processes, assessments and interviews, maintaining placement records, employer databases and placement analytics, ensuring smooth execution of pre-placement talks, assessments, group discussions, interviews and offer management. The role also involves facilitating internships and industry projects, building internship opportunities across sectors, monitoring internship progress, maintaining employer feedback records and increasing pre-placement offer opportunities.
The selected candidate will conduct employability assessments, identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs covering communication skills, interview preparation, resume building, group discussions, aptitude and reasoning, corporate etiquette and professional grooming. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students on career planning, tracking placement readiness, managing student engagement, addressing placement and internship concerns, preparing MIS reports, dashboards and management presentations, tracking placement statistics and recruiter feedback, maintaining accreditation-related placement documentation and ensuring timely reporting of placement and internship metrics. Candidates from reputed colleges, universities, business schools, training and placement cells, HR consulting firms, staffing organizations or corporate talent acquisition functions with a strong recruiter network across NCR and PAN India will be preferred.
