Gushwork is an AI startup reinventing how businesses get discovered online through AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. The company is backed by leading global investors including Lightspeed, SIG, B Capital and Beenext. The Lead - Human Resource & People Operations will own and manage end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmations, exits, documentation and policy administration. Responsibilities include coordinating offer generation, background verification, employee records management and HR compliance processes, serving as the primary point of contact for employee queries, driving employee engagement initiatives, culture-building activities, team events, offsites, celebrations and internal communication programs.
The role will also be responsible for planning and operationalizing company-wide events, supporting leadership in employee-related discussions, performance concerns, retention initiatives and workplace matters, partnering with hiring managers and talent acquisition teams for seamless onboarding experiences, managing office administration and vendor relationships including facilities, internet, security, housekeeping and food services. Additional responsibilities include maintaining HR policies, systems, employee databases, attendance records and reports, improving employee experience and operational efficiency, and supporting workforce planning and organizational initiatives. Candidates should have experience in HR Operations, People Operations, Employee Experience or Generalist HR roles within startup, SaaS, technology, product or high-growth environments.
