Job Description
Mphasis is a leading global information technology solutions provider specializing in cloud, cognitive services, application development, infrastructure services, and business process transformation. The company is hiring professionals for Payroll and HR Shared Services roles and is conducting a walk-in drive for candidates with relevant HR operations and payroll experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for executing end-to-end payroll processing with complete accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations. The role includes managing HR Shared Services activities such as onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle support.
Key responsibilities include monitoring payroll and non-payroll calendar activities, ensuring service level agreements and deadlines are met, collaborating with site teams and stakeholders to identify operational challenges, and supporting process improvement initiatives. The candidate will analyze HR Shared Services and payroll processes to identify risks, compliance gaps, and operational inefficiencies while implementing corrective and preventive measures.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, payroll regulations, and audit controls. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation, supporting internal and external audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of payroll processing, HR Shared Services operations, employee lifecycle management, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and compliance requirements. Exposure to Canadian payroll processing is preferred. Applicants should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required along with the ability to learn new HR and payroll systems quickly.
