Job Description
BruntWork is hiring an experienced HR Coordinator to support end to end HR administration for an Australian based workforce. This is a remote opportunity for professionals with strong knowledge of Australian employment practices and the ability to manage employee lifecycle processes while providing HR support to managers and employees across multiple locations. The role involves preparing employment contracts, contract variations, HR documentation and maintaining accurate employee records. The selected candidate will coordinate onboarding and offboarding, process resignations, terminations and employment changes while ensuring compliance with Australian employment requirements. Responsibilities include providing guidance on Modern Awards, National Employment Standards, leave entitlements, notice periods and other employee obligations. The role also requires drafting HR correspondence, supporting recruitment activities including interview coordination and hiring processes, maintaining HR systems and contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have previous HR administration or coordination experience supporting an Australian workforce with a strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, employee lifecycle management, performance management support and employee relations. Experience in hospitality, cleaning, labour hire or high volume workforce environments is advantageous. Experience using Employment Hero or similar HR platforms is preferred. The ideal candidate should be proactive, highly organised, detail oriented, professional, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast paced environment. This is an immediate remote opportunity supporting Australian operations from South Asia.
