The Human Resources Manager will take ownership of recruitment, employee coordination, HR operations, people management, and day-to-day HR processes while helping build a high-performance, creative, and accountable workplace culture. The role requires working closely with founders, artists, engineers, production teams, and leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.
The selected candidate will manage end-to-end hiring for creative, technical, production, and operations roles, source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, colleges, and industry networks, prepare job descriptions for VFX, AI, software, production, and studio operations roles, screen resumes, conduct HR interviews, coordinate interviews with department heads, maintain recruitment trackers, and build talent pipelines for future hiring requirements.
The role also includes serving as the primary HR contact for employees, maintaining employee records, joining documentation, attendance, leave management, onboarding and offboarding activities, probation tracking, performance reviews, confirmations, contract renewals, and ensuring HR policies are communicated and followed consistently. Responsibilities include maintaining offer letters, employment contracts, NDAs, salary records, coordinating payroll with the accounts team, implementing HR policies, employee handbooks and SOPs, maintaining confidentiality, organizing employee engagement initiatives, supporting leadership in improving communication and accountability, coordinating team meetings, resolving employee concerns, tracking performance, developing KRAs and KPIs, facilitating feedback discussions, supporting conflict resolution, and building scalable HR systems as the organization grows.
Candidates should have 2β5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or Recruitment. Strong English and Hindi communication skills, recruitment expertise, employee lifecycle management, HR documentation, onboarding, attendance management, leave administration, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a startup environment are essential. Experience working with Google Sheets, Google Docs, LinkedIn, job portals, HR trackers, and maintaining confidentiality is required. Experience hiring for VFX, animation, gaming, AI, media, production, or technology companies, building HR systems, employee engagement, performance management, contract hiring, freelance coordination, and vendor management will be an added advantage.
