Job Description
DNISPL is looking for an experienced HR Manager / Generalist – Compliance to lead statutory and labour law compliance across multiple states in India. The role will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end compliance with central and state-specific labour laws, payroll compliance, statutory reporting, audits, inspections, legal documentation, and compliance governance while supporting smooth HR and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage statutory and labour law compliance across multiple states and locations.
• Monitor central and state-specific labour law amendments and implement required changes.
• Oversee compliance related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate statutory deductions, filings, and timely payments.
• Manage end-to-end payroll compliance and statutory reporting.
• Handle labour inspections, statutory audits, government notices, and legal compliance matters.
• Ensure timely renewal of statutory registrations, licences, certifications, and other regulatory documentation.
• Manage contractor and vendor compliance in accordance with applicable labour regulations.
• Develop and implement HR compliance policies, SOPs, processes, and internal controls.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Business teams to ensure compliance across the organization.
• Prepare compliance MIS, dashboards, and management reports.
• Maintain accurate statutory records, registers, filings, and legal documentation.
• Identify compliance risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them.
• Support HR operations in maintaining adherence to applicable employment regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in HR Compliance, Payroll Compliance, and Statutory Compliance.
• Strong understanding of Central and State labour laws across India.
• Proven experience managing multi-state statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in payroll compliance, statutory audits, labour inspections, and legal documentation.
• Strong knowledge of statutory filings and employment regulations.
• Experience handling multi-location operations and large workforce environments is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS / Payroll software.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with HR, Operations, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and compliance orientation.
