B.D. Industries (BDI Group) is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified manufacturing organization producing plastic products in Mumbai for more than 35 years. The company manufactures over 500 products serving 8 different industries including custom rotational moulding. BDI supplies leading automotive companies with fuel tanks, in-cab parts, fenders, roof tops, AdBlue tanks, road barriers, material handling products, plastic pallets, dustbins, twin bins, garbage chutes, hospital furniture, and other industrial products. The company specializes in custom moulding and developing innovative products from concept to production. With 5 manufacturing plants across western, northern, and southern India, BDI serves customers across the country.
The HR Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for plant and corporate positions. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and consultants, screening profiles, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, ensuring timely closures, and maintaining recruitment MIS and hiring trackers.
The role also includes handling HR operations such as employee onboarding, induction, documentation, maintaining employee records, personal files and HRMS data, processing employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, exit formalities, and coordinating attendance and payroll inputs.
The selected candidate will support employee engagement activities, welfare initiatives, grievance handling, employee communication, and help promote a positive work culture and employee experience. The position requires coordinating statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund and other applicable labour law requirements, maintaining statutory records, supporting internal and external compliance audits, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing labour regulations.
Additional responsibilities include preparing HR MIS reports, manpower reports, recruitment dashboards, and supporting management with HR data and analytics. Candidates should have experience recruiting for production, quality, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and support functions. Experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment with the ability to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously is preferred. Strong coordination, organizational, interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management, HRMS, and MS Excel skills are essential.
