Job Description
Ciron Pharma is hiring a Sourcing Specialist – Pharmaceutical Formulation Procurement for its Mumbai location. This is a full-time permanent position for professionals with hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation procurement. The role includes procurement for Formulation R&D, ADL, Pilot Scale, Validation and Commercial Manufacturing. Responsibilities include sourcing APIs, excipients, packaging materials, laboratory chemicals, reference standards, impurities, HPLC and GC columns, solvents and engineering consumables. The selected candidate will handle vendor development, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations, cost optimization, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, procurement planning, import procurement coordination with freight forwarders and CHA, inventory planning, safety stock management and procurement MIS reporting. The role also requires ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP, SOPs and regulatory documentation. Candidates should have experience in pharmaceutical formulation procurement, strong knowledge of pharmaceutical raw materials and laboratory consumables, vendor development, commercial negotiations, SAP, ERP or Oracle procurement systems, advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of GMP, GDP and pharmaceutical documentation. Preferred backgrounds include Pharmaceutical Formulation Companies, Injectable Manufacturing, Oral Solid Dosage, Sterile Manufacturing and CDMOs.
