Job Description
DNISPL is looking for an experienced HR Manager / Generalist ā Compliance to lead statutory and labour law compliance across multiple states in India. The role will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end compliance with central and state-specific labour laws, payroll compliance, statutory reporting, audits, inspections, legal documentation, and compliance governance while supporting smooth HR and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Manage statutory and labour law compliance across multiple states and locations.
ā¢ Monitor central and state-specific labour law amendments and implement required changes.
ā¢ Oversee compliance related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, and other applicable regulations.
ā¢ Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate statutory deductions, filings, and timely payments.
ā¢ Manage end-to-end payroll compliance and statutory reporting.
ā¢ Handle labour inspections, statutory audits, government notices, and legal compliance matters.
ā¢ Ensure timely renewal of statutory registrations, licences, certifications, and other regulatory documentation.
ā¢ Manage contractor and vendor compliance in accordance with applicable labour regulations.
ā¢ Develop and implement HR compliance policies, SOPs, processes, and internal controls.
ā¢ Conduct internal compliance audits and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
ā¢ Collaborate with HR Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Business teams to ensure compliance across the organization.
ā¢ Prepare compliance MIS, dashboards, and management reports.
ā¢ Maintain accurate statutory records, registers, filings, and legal documentation.
ā¢ Identify compliance risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them.
ā¢ Support HR operations in maintaining adherence to applicable employment regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
ā¢ 7ā12 years of relevant experience in HR Compliance, Payroll Compliance, and Statutory Compliance.
ā¢ Strong understanding of Central and State labour laws across India.
ā¢ Proven experience managing multi-state statutory compliance.
ā¢ Hands-on experience in payroll compliance, statutory audits, labour inspections, and legal documentation.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of statutory filings and employment regulations.
ā¢ Experience handling multi-location operations and large workforce environments is preferred.
ā¢ Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
ā¢ Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS / Payroll software.
ā¢ Ability to coordinate effectively with HR, Operations, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams.
ā¢ Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and compliance orientation.
