Job Description
Roche is hiring a Payroll, Time & Benefits Analyst for its Mumbai office. The role focuses on payroll, benefits administration, absence management, customer service and advisory support to employees, managers and business partners while ensuring end-to-end HR process delivery aligned with customer-focused principles. The selected candidate will execute HR system data maintenance and administrative activities related to payroll, tax, social insurance, time management and local and global benefits administration. Responsibilities include providing customer support for payroll, time and benefits queries, managing requests and issue resolution, maintaining knowledge of local time and absence policies, coordinating with managers to validate employee time and attendance records, processing and reconciling payroll mass upload files, monitoring Workday and vendor integrations, resolving integration errors, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations, developing stakeholder relationships, supporting HR system maintenance activities, providing guidance to first-level People and Culture support teams, maintaining process documentation, participating in HR projects, ensuring service delivery aligned with KPIs and ServiceNow OKRs, supporting business-driven activities, collaborating with regional and global HR teams and continuously improving People Support Solutions. Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in payroll services and benefits administration, preferably within a shared service center environment. Strong knowledge of payroll cycles, payroll processes, HR operations, advanced Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, communication skills, customer service orientation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced multicultural environment are required. HR generalist knowledge and experience with Workday will be an advantage.
