Valueline Group is a premier luxury interior solutions, architectural hardware, sanitaryware, and building products organization delivering end-to-end solutions for premium residential and commercial spaces. Operating within the Retail, Interior Architecture, and Building Materials industry with a multi-location operational workforce spanning two hundred to five hundred employees, the enterprise manages premium showrooms, offices, fabrication units, warehouses, and project sites.
The Head of Human Resources will lead the complete human resources function across all business verticals and locations. The role carries end-to-end ownership of strategic HR initiatives, manpower planning, executive talent acquisition, complete employee lifecycles, performance architecture, governance frameworks, statutory compliances, and organizational transformation. Working in an on-site capacity based in Hyderabad, the executive partners closely with Management and Business Heads to cultivate an accountable, high-performance culture aligned with sustainable business growth.
Core Strategic Objectives and Responsibilities
Human Resources Strategy and Organizational Development
Formulate and execute a cohesive Group HR strategy aligned directly with corporate milestones and long-term expansion goals.
Build scalable human resources systems, operational processes, and governance across all operating units and geographic sites.
Partner with executive leadership on workforce design, functional reporting lines, and overall workforce deployment.
Evaluate organizational effectiveness and drive restructuring initiatives to optimize operational productivity.
Cultivate an organizational culture founded on accountability, personal ownership, integrity, and operational discipline.
Design long-term succession planning architectures, talent retention frameworks, and leadership development pipelines.
Act as a key strategic HR advisor to senior management across organizational interventions.
Manpower Planning and Talent Acquisition
Own group-wide workforce planning, staffing budgets, and recruitment cost controls.
Identify current and projected hiring needs in close coordination with functional department heads.
Standardize role descriptions, key result areas, and technical competency expectations across all levels.
Direct end-to-end recruitment for critical, managerial, and executive positions to guarantee high-quality hires.
Establish diversified talent sourcing avenues and sustained talent pipelines to reduce turnaround time.
Elevate corporate employer branding and execute seamless onboarding programs against approved timelines.
Employee Lifecycle and HR Operations
Standardize operational procedures governing the complete employee lifecycle from joining through separation.
Supervise documentation, pre-employment verification, induction, probation confirmations, role transfers, and promotions.
Ensure accurate and prompt generation of offer letters, employment contracts, and statutory letters.
Maintain confidential, centralized, and thoroughly audited physical and digital personnel files.
Enforce consistent execution of HR practices across corporate offices, showrooms, and warehouse hubs.
Payroll, Attendance, and HRMS Operations
Oversee the monthly payroll lifecycle to guarantee total accuracy, timely disbursements, and statutory precision.
Implement stringent attendance, leave management, overtime, and incentive tracking mechanisms.
Coordinate with Finance and Accounts to govern salary processing, tax deductions, and financial reconciliations.
Drive full adoption of HRMS platforms for automated attendance, leave accounting, payroll integration, and expense reimbursements.
Troubleshoot systemic payroll and biometric attendance issues through structural process enhancements.
Safeguard the integrity, security, and strict confidentiality of corporate workforce records.
Statutory and Labor Law Governance
Ensure comprehensive adherence to all state and central labor legislations across facilities.
Oversee compliance filings, inspections, and remittances concerning Provident Fund, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labor Welfare Fund, Bonus, and Gratuity.
Maintain mandatory statutory registers, records, licenses, returns, and notices across branches.
Interface with statutory authorities, labor consultants, legal advisors, and auditors as required.
Establish a dynamic compliance calendar coupled with periodic internal audits to preempt operational risks.
Ensure complete compliance documentation across corporate hubs, fabrication facilities, and remote site installations.
Performance Management System
Direct the implementation of the Group Performance Management System.
Define balanced KRAs, KPIs, and qualitative performance benchmarks across all roles.
Facilitate structured goal-setting routines, mid-term reviews, and annual appraisal cycles.
Support managers in conducting objective appraisals and executing structured Performance Improvement Plans.
Align increments, promotions, and lateral career advancements with measurable performance outputs.
Establish impactful frameworks to identify, motivate, and retain top performers.
Capability Building and Training Interventions
Identify skill gaps across operational units and design annual training roadmaps.
Coordinate specialized functional, technical, and behavioral training programs while assessing return on training investment.
Formulate leadership enhancement programs for high-potential staff and frontline managers.
Establish competency frameworks and clear internal career roadmaps for critical roles.
Employee Relations and Workplace Ethics
Act as the principal escalation authority for complex employee relations matters.
Foster an ethical, transparent, and respectful workplace environment across all teams.
Direct grievance resolution mechanisms and domestic inquiry processes in compliance with organizational policies and labor statutes.
Address behavioral violations, absenteeism, and performance failures with fairness and consistency.
Partner with department heads to maintain workplace discipline and professional conduct standards.
Ensure meticulous documentation of all disciplinary proceedings and employee inquiries.
HR Policy Architecture and Governance
Formulate, roll out, and periodically revise comprehensive Group HR policies and standard operating procedures.
Standardize human resources governance across distinct subsidiaries and retail locations.
Publish and maintain the Group Employee Handbook and compliance guidelines.
Define clear directives for work attendance, travel reimbursements, leave allotments, remote work policies, and employee code of conduct.
Conduct regular employee orientations to ensure transparent understanding of organizational standards.
Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Well-being
Develop competitive compensation frameworks in partnership with top management.
Execute industry salary benchmarking and internal parity assessments to retain key talent.
Manage annual salary review cycles, incentive plans, and promotional wage revisions.
Track manpower and departmental operating expenses against approved fiscal budgets.
Oversee group health insurance, accident policies, and comprehensive employee welfare benefits.
Design creative employee engagement, team-building, and wellness initiatives.
Separation Governance and Full and Final Settlements
Oversee resignation submissions, notice period compliance, handovers, and department clearances.
Administer structured exit interviews to analyze root causes of attrition and implement corrective retention strategies.
Supervise prompt settlement of final dues, gratuity distributions, and PF transfers.
Ensure immediate dispatch of relieving documentation, service certificates, and clearance records.
HR Analytics and Management Reporting
Build a comprehensive HR MIS and executive reporting dashboard.
Present executive reports detailing headcount movements, recruitment costs, attrition trends, attendance health, payroll outlays, training hours, and open roles.
Leverage workforce analytics to highlight operational bottlenecks, compliance risks, and strategic talent gaps.
Deliver data-informed recommendations directly to the Board of Directors and Managing Leadership.
Multi-Location and Site Operations Management
Oversee operational HR administration across diverse retail showrooms, fabrication units, and project installation sites.
Coordinate appropriate manpower mobilization, local site attendance records, and localized safety documentation.
Facilitate site-level accommodation, travel arrangements, and employee welfare measures for project personnel.
Standardize core organizational culture and compliance across diverse regional teams.
HR Team Leadership and Development
Mentor, guide, and lead the internal HR team across recruitment, operations, and compliance desks.
Establish clear team performance expectations, service delivery standards, and routine audit checkpoints.
Empower the HR team to execute day-to-day administrative functions independently and proactively.
Continuously build team capabilities to support business scalability.
Strategic Management Partnership
Act as a confidential sounding board to Executive Management on workforce decisions.
Uphold absolute discretion regarding employee records, compensation packages, and legal matters.
Promptly highlight compliance vulnerabilities, organizational risks, and key talent movements.
Provide operational leadership during business restructuring, regional expansions, and change management initiatives.
