METRO Global Solution Center is an internal solution partner for METRO, a €31 Billion international wholesaler with operations in more than 30 countries. The store network comprises a total of 623 stores in 21 countries, of which 522 offer out-of-store delivery and 94 are dedicated depots. In 12 countries, METRO runs only the delivery business through its delivery companies. HoReCa and Traders are core customer groups of METRO. MGSC is present in Pune, India, Düsseldorf, Germany, and Szczecin, Poland. It provides HR, Finance, IT and Business operations support to 31 countries, speaks 24+ languages, and processes over 18,000 transactions a day. At Talent & Organizational Development, the company is looking for an engaged employee to support the development, maintenance, and implementation of international development talent programs. The vision is to build a world-class talent and organization development function that drives business success through attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, exceptional talent and performance management, leadership, learning and development, and employer branding. The focus of the role will be global talent development programs. Key responsibilities include supporting and coordinating the end-to-end execution of global talent development programs, ensuring smooth delivery and a high-quality participant experience, and supporting the organization and delivery of development modules including training sessions, workshops, and graduation events in online, on-site, and hybrid formats. The coordinator will act as a key point of contact for talent program participants, ensuring clear and consistent communication and timely delivery of all program materials. Responsibilities include coordinating internal and external stakeholders, providing administrative support, ensuring quality assurance of delivered services, and preparing and maintaining documentation, reports, and databases to support program tracking, evaluation, and decision-making proposals. The role involves working with functional experts on the continuous development and improvement of development modules and talent journeys, driving continuous improvement of program materials, guidelines, and frameworks, and optimizing processes through standardization and efficiency enhancements to ensure scalability and global alignment. The coordinator will continuously update the knowledge management database with the latest versions of processes, materials, templates, and services and support communication and marketing of the learning portfolio within the company through creative and innovative formats in close collaboration with the Employer Branding team. Candidates should have at least 2–3 years of relevant working experience with strong project and/or event management skills. A background or degree in Communication, Education, HR, or Adult Learning is a plus. Candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English and possess strong communication skills. The role requires excellent MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel, familiarity with design tools such as Canva, and advanced familiarity with AI-based tools used responsibly to support HR activities such as content creation, data analysis, and process optimization. Candidates should be detail-oriented with strong planning and project management skills, fast learners, adaptable to new environments, able to respond quickly and effectively to changing requirements, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset with solid general business understanding. Creativity in creating simple and visually appealing materials is also required.
