This Role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee-related matters to employees at every organizational level, from members of the leadership team to entry-level employees.
The role will deploy talent management, organizational development and payroll solutions that support the business strategy and contribute to breakthrough business results.
Responsibilities
Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure the organization has the right talent working in suitable roles.
Successfully execute all HR cycle processes, including objective setting, talent reviews, mid-year reviews, talent development plans, annual salary reviews, budget management and organizational structure planning.
Ensure all required HR system updates are completed accurately and within the appropriate timelines.
Develop innovative people strategies and design approaches that deliver business value while creating an environment that supports employee satisfaction.
Oversee the administration of payroll and employee benefits programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding people policies, HR practices and workplace procedures.
Act as the primary person responsible for coaching leaders and advising employees on employee relations matters, talent management, payroll and benefits, internal mobility and ways to obtain the greatest value from each employee’s contribution.
Research and analyze employee trends to identify opportunities for improving employee engagement and retention.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters.
Conduct effective, thorough and objective workplace investigations whenever required.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required.
Candidates should have experience working as an HR generalist and should possess recruitment experience.
Experience working in start-ups or globally distributed companies is preferred.
Candidates must have knowledge of applicable labour laws and local regulations.
The role requires the ability to work independently and maintain productivity while operating within a matrix environment.
Candidates should be comfortable working at a rapid pace and translating business strategies into organizational plans that deliver successful outcomes for both the business and its workforce.
The position requires the ability to persuade and influence members of the leadership team on people-related matters.
Candidates should be collaborative, resourceful, detail-oriented and analytical.
The successful applicant should demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Applicants should have experience working in fast-paced and uncertain environments.
Fluent English language proficiency is required.
