Terrace Garden India is a leading urban gardening solutions company helping homes and offices create green and sustainable spaces. The company is growing rapidly and looking for an HR Associate ā Generalist to strengthen its people operations and support various HR functions.
The HR Associate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level roles including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. The role also includes managing onboarding activities, joining formalities, induction, documentation, and ensuring a smooth first-week experience for new employees.
The position involves maintaining employee records, contracts, ID cards, offer letters, experience letters, and HRIS updates. The candidate will support statutory compliance activities including PF, ESI, Labour Laws, Shops & Establishment compliance, and coordination with consultants whenever required. Responsibilities also include assisting in monthly payroll processing through attendance management, leave data, reimbursements, and coordination with accounts teams.
The HR Associate will support employee engagement activities, grievance handling, workplace culture initiatives, HR policy implementation, SOP awareness, day-to-day HR queries, exit formalities, and other administrative tasks as required. Candidates should have experience as an HR Generalist or Associate, preferably in a startup or SME environment, with knowledge of PF, ESI, payroll, basic labour laws, Excel, Google Sheets, and HRMS tools.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills in Hindi and English, the ability to multitask, manage multiple stakeholders, and work independently. Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or startup sectors will be an added advantage.
