Job Description
Ramboll is hiring an India Subject Matter Expert (HR Operations) to serve as the primary expert for statutory compliance, payroll input accuracy, and HR operations processes across the organization. The role is responsible for end-to-end execution and advisory support on Indian labour law compliance, payroll inputs, employee lifecycle management, and HR systems while working closely with HR Business Partners, Global Payroll, Legal, and business stakeholders.
The selected candidate will own payroll input management including new joiners, exits, salary changes, loss of pay, arrears, and full and final settlements while ensuring payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely processing. Responsibilities include supporting POSH Act 2013 compliance through Internal Committee coordination, reporting, case management, and awareness training. The role also involves maintaining statutory registers, ensuring timely PF ECR filings, ESI challans, Professional Tax returns, Labour Welfare Fund compliance, annual returns under the Shops and Establishment Act, and supporting statutory and labour audits conducted internally or by regulatory authorities.
The candidate will work with legal, compliance teams, and external consultants on labour law updates, notifications, inspections, and statutory queries. Additional responsibilities include managing employee onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, HR documentation, statutory documentation, and full and final settlement processes within statutory timelines. The role requires maintaining and improving HR systems including Workday and ServiceNow to enhance data quality, statutory reporting, and operational efficiency while partnering with IT for implementation and troubleshooting. The candidate will evaluate HR operational processes for automation, standardization, compliance risk reduction, and continuous improvement. They will also collaborate with HR Business Partners, People Advisors, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to ensure process alignment, resolve employee queries related to HR operations, payroll, and policies, and monitor ServiceNow dashboards, SLA compliance, KPIs, quality metrics, and compliance risk indicators.
