STEM Shiksha Foundation, operating under Maker Bhavan Foundation (MBF), is a Section 8 non-profit organization transforming engineering education across India by shifting learning from theory to hands-on problem solving. Established by technology alumni, entrepreneurs, and academicians, MBF equips academic institutions with tools, funding, and initiatives such as 24/7 Tinkerers' Labs, the InventX summer internship, Vishwakarma Awards, Center for Essential Skills, and AICTE Project PRACTICE. STEM Shiksha Foundation is seeking a proactive, highly organized HR & Admin Manager to manage day-to-day office operations and internal people processes at Vikhroli West, Mumbai. Reporting directly to the Head - Operations, this execution-heavy position serves as the backbone of the office, balancing administration, digital workspace management, and the employee lifecycle. Office administration responsibilities encompass managing workplace upkeep, office supplies, and housekeeping, as well as serving as primary Google Workspace administrator to oversee user access, drive architecture, and intuitive file hierarchies. The role also requires managing vendor negotiations for utilities and equipment, coordinating leadership travel logistics, and maintaining audit-ready physical and digital documentation systems. On the human resources front, the manager will lead full-funnel talent acquisition, including job postings, resume screenings, interview scheduling, and candidate tracking. Additional HR duties include driving Day-1 employee onboarding, IT setups, orientations, seamless offboarding, policy execution, KRA tracking support for annual reviews, attendance monitoring, and personnel file compliance. Candidates must have 5 to 6 years of proven HR and administration experience, ideally within a startup, non-profit, or small-to-mid education organization. Expert proficiency in Google Workspace, strong organizational discipline, high discretion with sensitive data, and hands-on execution capabilities are essential.
