Job Description
The organization is looking for an experienced HR Manager to independently manage Human Resources and Administration activities for its growing workforce in the gourmet foods import and supply industry. The role will focus on HR policy development, statutory compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, and employee relations. The HR Manager will also lead and mentor a 2-member HR & Administration team and support HR requirements across Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and other functions.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and processes aligned with business objectives.
ā¢ Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee lifecycle activities.
ā¢ Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and recognition initiatives.
ā¢ Establish and manage performance appraisal, KPI, and performance tracking frameworks.
ā¢ Handle employee relations, grievances, and workplace concerns.
ā¢ Act as an HR advisor to management and employees on people-related matters.
ā¢ Plan and execute training, development, and employee capability-building programs.
ā¢ Maintain an annual HR calendar covering key employee and organizational initiatives.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements and labour laws.
ā¢ Lead, mentor, and manage the existing 2-member HR & Administration team.
ā¢ Maintain accurate HR documentation, employee records, and HRIS/HRMS data.
ā¢ Conduct regular HR audits and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
ā¢ Support management in developing a positive, engaged, and high-performance workplace culture.
ā¢ Manage HR requirements for Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and other operational teams.
ā¢ Conduct regular face-to-face interactions with employees to understand and address HR concerns.
ā¢ Support workforce management for blue-collar and operational employees.
Eligibility:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
ā¢ 4ā5 years of relevant HR experience.
ā¢ Minimum 1 year of managerial or team-handling experience.
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience in HR policy development and SOP implementation.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of HR compliance and applicable labour laws.
ā¢ Experience in performance management, KPI frameworks, and employee appraisal processes.
ā¢ Proven experience in Talent Acquisition and end-to-end recruitment.
ā¢ Strong experience in employee engagement, retention, and employee relations.
ā¢ Experience in training and development and HR calendar planning.
ā¢ Ability to lead and mentor a 2-member HR & Administration team.
ā¢ Experience handling HR requirements for Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, or blue-collar workforces will be preferred.
ā¢ Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS and MS Office.
ā¢ Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR priorities.
ā¢ Comfortable working from office in Chembur, Mumbai.
