The Human Resources Business Partner role is based in Andheri East, Mumbai, and is designed for a professional who can take complete ownership of business operations. This is not a traditional manager role. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment operations, business development, client relationships, financial performance, hiring, team leadership, technology implementation, process improvements, and overall business growth. The objective is to build a highly efficient business that operates independently without requiring the Founder to be involved in day-to-day operations.
The role includes driving business growth by owning monthly revenue and profitability targets, preparing annual business plans, developing growth strategies, identifying new markets, increasing repeat business, building strategic partnerships, and launching new recruitment verticals.
The candidate will lead the Business Development team by acquiring enterprise clients, closing high-value recruitment mandates, building key accounts, improving client retention, increasing recurring revenue, monitoring the sales pipeline, and forecasting monthly revenue.
The role also involves leading recruitment delivery teams, improving delivery speed, increasing offer-to-joining ratios, monitoring recruiter productivity, enhancing candidate experience, reducing turnaround time, and maintaining delivery quality.
The Human Resources Business Partner will lead teams across Recruitment, Business Development, Client Servicing, Marketing, Operations, Human Resources, and Administration. Responsibilities include hiring, training, conducting performance reviews, managing promotions, handling performance improvement plans, building team culture, and motivating employees.
The position carries complete financial responsibility for the business including ownership of Profit and Loss, revenue, gross margin, profitability, collections, outstanding payments, cost control, hiring budgets, vendor costs, and monthly MIS reporting.
The candidate will maintain strong relationships with CEOs, HR Directors, CHROs, Founders, Marketing Heads, and other senior stakeholders while independently handling client escalations.
Additional responsibilities include creating scalable systems, improving standard operating procedures, implementing automation, enhancing CRM usage, streamlining recruitment processes, developing reporting dashboards, tracking KPIs, improving productivity, collaborating with CRM and technology teams to enhance ATS, recruitment automation, AI usage, reporting, candidate databases, dashboards, and fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, transparency, speed, performance, and innovation.
